2018-2019 Supply List
Preschool Supplies:
All of our supplies are shared within our classroom community. Do not label the supplies with your child’s name. We always appreciate your generosity, and as the year progresses we will notify you of our needs.
2 boxes of Kleenex (or more if you like)
Paper Towels
3 boxes of snack sized Ziploc Bags
1 box gallon size Ziploc Bags
5 packages of Baby Wipes (or more if you like…this is our most needed item)
1 bottle of Clorox wipes
1 10oz bottle of pump hand sanitizer
Child-sized scissors
1 box of Crayola Crayons (8 or 16 count only)
1 box of Crayola Pencils
1 package of dry erase/Expo markers
1 package of thick Crayola markers
1 package of thin Crayola markers
1 package of Ticonderoga pencils
1 package of Pentel Hi-Polymer erasers (the white ones)
1 Pocket Folder (This is to carry memos or their papers to and from school.
NOT a binder.)
1 Package of girls/boys underwear size 3T, 4T
1 Package of plastic forks
1 Package of plastic spoons
Optional Items
large popsicle sticks
small popsicle sticks
cheap paper plates (the real flimsy ones)
small foam brushes
bottle of rubber cement
NAP SUPPLIES (Full day students only)
(1) plastic rest mat.
They are usually green/blue, red/blue, or blue/gray. Target and Walmart sells them, or you can get them online. These mats are the cushion that the children put their nap bedding on for nap time. They fold into fourths. We have storage issues and cannot store thick nap mats. The mats should be
1”– 1.5” in thickness.
(2) “All in one Nap Pad” (Nap bedding)
The nap pad below can be found at Target, Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Amazon, Buy Buy Baby, Babies R Us…many places!
This is the preferred nap bedding for preschool. We have storage constraints and these pads work best. Our second choice would be to provide one fleece blanket. The blankets are large enough to fold in half, which will cover the plastic mat and fold over to cover the child. If you are going to use the fleece blanket, it will need to be placed in either a drawstring bag or a pillowcase.
Nap bedding comes to school on Monday and is sent home on Friday for washing.
Please NO pillows, pillow pets, sleeping bags, or crib sheets.
A small “snuggly” (stuffed animal) or special blanket may be brought to use during naptime.
Disclaimer: These are transitional objects and meant to help the children as they learn how to nap in a new place. The stuffed animals need to be small; fits into their backpack. It is best for them to choose an item that they’ll keep with their nap stuff all week. It is difficult to manage daily “snuggly” items. If your child does not need one, don’t send one. If at any time a student contracts lice, the “snugglies” will be discontinued until we feel that it is safe to reinstate.
Things to bring the first day of school:
* Refillable water bottle, labeled with your child's name and last initial
* Backpack (no roller backpacks… yet large enough to fit your folder)
* Nap mat and nap bedding for full day students
* Lunch - Nothing that needs to be heated
* Ziploc baggie with a change of clothes (you can include an extra pair of shoes)
